Mission Statement
Living Lab
Because technological advance is unstoppable, we created The Living Lab.
The Living Lab is where humans and robots can work together to improve the human condition.
It is the mission of The Living Lab Project to (1) explore uses for service robots at the consumer level within human service and educational sectors; (2) to gain understanding and insight into consumer needs, desires, wants, challenges and opportunities in their use and interactions of service robots; (3) trouble shoot the introduction and use of service robots into humans service and educational consumer services (4) engage in ethical/legal/safety exploration and conversations for the introduction and use of service robots into human service and educational consumer sectors and (5) Disseminate information discovery; being a voice for the consumers in humans services and educational sectors in the introduction and use of service robots.
